Mandate & Functions

The Council of Ministers is the supreme decision-making body of the West African Postal Conference. It defines the general policy of the Union and ensures the implementation of the objectives set out in the WAPCO Convention.

  • Approves the strategic plan and budget of the Conference.
  • Appoints the Executive Secretary.
  • Adopts regulations concerning the operation of postal services in the region.
